Holidays, My Story

Red, White and Blue and what it means to me

I-do-not-agree-with-what

As a naturalized citizen, I have the best of both worlds. I get to enjoy all of the liberties being an American affords and being born outside of this country, I have an acute awareness of how important they are. I don’t take any of the rights that I have for granted. At times when I see the level of negativity out in the media it gets me upset but then I realize that unlike so many other countries in the world, we allow our citizens to freely express their opinions even though they can unpopular and divisive. So being an American means allowing people to freely express themselves and hopefully allow others to learn from their point of view no matter how much we may we disagree. God bless America! Let freedom ring.

This is me!

Twenty fingers, Twenty toes
Plenty of work, heaven knows!
Four little arms to hold tight.
Four little cheeks to kiss at night.
